Golden Milk Smoothie
What is Golden Milk? Golden Milk is a drink made with turmeric and other warming spices – so healthful a beverage: anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, anti fungal and delicious! This Golden Milk smoothie recipe is delicious, nutritious, satisfying and has the added benefit of protein and calcium in the cottage cheese and yogurt.
If you want to keep this smoothie dairy free, use a coconut yogurt and swap the cottage cheese for a cup of white beans (cannellini or pinto), both provide plant-based protein and the beans also provide fiber, a wealth of B vitamins, including B12, iron, potassium, zinc, and other essential minerals.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes / Makes: 2 Servings (or one generous serving)
Ingredients
1 Medium Banana
1 Cup Cottage Cheese - alternate: cannellini or pinto beans
½ Cup Greek Yogurt
1 Cup Oat Milk or another plant-based milk or dairy milk of your choice
1 Heaping teaspoon Golden Milk Spice Mix
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup or Coconut Sugar (or more if you want it sweeter)
¼ Cup Ice cubes – optional – use if you want a very cold smoothie
How It’s Made
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth.
Or add all the ingredients to a large measuring cup and blend with a hand-held immersion stick blender.
Pour into a pretty glass, add a straw, if you wish, and drink in the delicious, nutritious, healing smoothie.
