The recipe makes 8-10 delicious crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside cookies.
Prep Time: 5 minutes Bake Time: 10 Minutes Total: 15 Minutes Serves: Makes 8-10 Cookies
Ingredients:
½ cup Almond Butter
¼ cup Maple Syrup
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ cup Almond Flour (Ground Almonds)
2 Tablespoons Hemp Hearts
¼ teaspoon fine Sea Salt
Sliced Almonds for garnish
How It’s Made
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicon sheet.
Mix the almond butter with the maple syrup until smooth.
Add the almond flour, hemp hearts, vanilla and sea salt. Mix well.
Roll a scant tablespoon of the dough into a ball and place onto the prepared cookie sheet. Take the back of the spoon and slightly flatten each ball.
Top with sliced almonds.
Bake for 10 minutes and remove from the oven. The cookies will be very soft right out of the oven so let them cool completely before removing them from the cookie sheet. Store cookies in an airtight container on the counter (these do not need to be stored in the fridge)
