Now that you are here, I may as well share a bit about me.

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic home cook from my kitchen in Toronto, Canada where I live with my husband and biggest cheerleader, mentor, advocate and the love of my life!  My sons are both grown, have their own full lives and I couldn’t be more proud of them. My heritage is Swiss and Italian and that is where my earliest culinary experiences are from and where I learned to love and cook with various delicious ingredients opening my palate up to exploring other cultures and cuisines.

Having always had an emotional connection to good food, to the joy, the pleasure and inclusiveness it brings, I traded the corner office and my 20+ years in international marketing to embrace my passion for being in the kitchen. 

I am a Graduate (with Honours!) from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition and a Certified Culinary Nutrition Instructor, Whole Foods course graduate, Allergies and Food Intolerance course graduate, recipe developer and tester, cookbook contributor and published recipe author.  I have always had the thought of publishing my own cookbook and one day I will!

Standing on the shoulders of the wonderful and inspiring cooks who have come before me, I credit each of them for their gift of my love of good food.  I find cooking and baking immensely satisfying and enjoy all types of cuisine, including plant based (I was a vegetarian for many years), gluten free and dairy free. 

I hope my knowledge and love of nutritious and delicious home cooked food and my no stress recipes and meal planning inspires you to have a healthy, emotional, loving connection to food that lasts a lifetime.
